Topping-out ceremony at Novozymes' Innovation Campus in Lyngby.

Novozymes is a building a new innovation campus. The new center will be a global hub for biotech research and business development and is a long term investment in Novozymes’ future.

The innovation campus will be built on a 140,000 square meter site acquired from the Municipality of Lyngby-Taarbæk in 2015. The campus will be ready for use in 2019

The campus is located in Lyngby 13 kilometers north of Copenhagen. It is close to the Technical University of Denmark and seven kilometers from Novozymes’ headquarters in Bagsværd.

Novozymes will establish a park and nature trail, which will be open to the public.

Novozymes also plans to establish a learning center which will be open to pupils, students and other visitors who wish to learn about biology and nature.

The first phase of construction will build a 30,000 square meter site with room for 800 employees in research and development and other business areas. Later expansions are possible if needed.

Novozymes collaborates on the project with: NCC (turnkey contractor), Rambøll (consulting engineer), Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter (architects), GHB Landskabsarkitekter landscape architects), and Alectia (client advisor)
