Introducing LCOs and LCO Promoter Technology®

Think of this as a crash course in LCOs (lipo-chitooligosaccharides). LCOs are powerful signaling molecules that act as a communication pathway between plants and beneficial microorganisms in their environment. Interaction between LCOs and inoculants helps plants access more nutrition and drive performance – whether applied to the surface of crop leaves, in-furrow, or both.

Some of the benefits: improved root development, faster growth, better overall health, greater crop resiliency/resistance to environmental pressures, higher yields, and increased photosynthesis and sugar production.

Novozymes’ LCO Promoter Technology solutions include Novozymes Torque® and Novozymes Ratchet®.
